WW - Heuer Carrera Chronomatic "Mick Jagger," ref 1153, automatic, 38mm x 43mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back case, round slotted pump pushers set on opposite side of winding crown, original black leather rally strap and stainless steel buckle signed Heuer, original blue reverse panda dial with applied silver lumed indices, tachymeter perimeter bezel in white with black printing, date aperture at 6, two inset subregisters for minute recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J cal 11, s#186465, triple signed. Part of the historically significant partnership for project 99; Heuer along with Hamilton/Buren, Breitling and Dubois-Depraz set out to construct the world's first automatic chronograph, although who was truly "first" is up for endless debate among vintage collectors.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; nearly flawless dial; nearly mint hands; unpolished case shows hardly any wear, still retains all of its original factory finishing, no dents or dings; original signed Heuer crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal.
